In our globalized world we are making changes in our life styles and
standards faster than ever to adept to the needs of society. This often
leaves an emotional void or insecurity. We begin to search for a life
with more meaning. We start desiring contact with an inner essence and
wanting to express this essence in the world, using as much of our
human potential as possible.
The foundation of the Energy & Consciousness Program - as a
whole-person development approach for individuals and organizations - is
the result of our decades of experience, research, and learning about
this fundamental search in life.
Energy and consciousness permeate all levels of existence. In its
ultimate state, energy and consciousness represent the free flow of
life. We experience this state as pleasure, joy, a sense of fulfillment
and inner peace. On this level we become aware of who we are, with a
deeper meaning of existence. We can reflect and make decisions based on
clear perceptions of reality and act consciously.
From this place our decisions have a positive impact in this world. We
also realize that our emotions and feelings influence our thoughts and
actions - reaching other people, systems, and organizations.
When we can stay in contact with our essential being, there is a
natural awakening of responsibility in choosing our thoughts, attitudes,
actions, and responses. Understanding who we are helps us greatly to
expand in our private and professional lives with a natural
authenticity and leadership.
The Energy & Consciousness Program lets
you experience and understand how we structure our life experiences
according to our perception of reality and how it reflects back on the
levels of the body • feelings/emotions • mind • will • the perception
of consciousness.
The Energy & Consciousness Program lets you experience how you
structure the energy in your system. We learn how life experiences and
events influence our holding patterns and our expression. How do I
restrict myself? What are the repeating patterns that limit my
expansion? How do they influence my creativity? How can I change
patterns that limit my potential? How do I communicate, relate with my
partner, family, employees, colleagues, and extended social life?
In opening for a deeper understanding of these questions and teachings
you connect with the Will of the Heart and discover the power of
Emotional Competence® and an inner authority that is based on essence.
This program is for all people on the
conscious path. Many participants have been in the professional field of
working with people in schools, the armed forces, corporations, social
workers, therapists, etc. Others come for the expanded learning process
and enrichment of their life and profession.
Siegmar Gerken, Ph.D., ECP studied cultural anthropology,
education and psychology. After working in the Free Clinic in Heidelberg
in 1972, he pioneered bodypsychotherapy and Humanistic Psychology
(member of AHP since 1974). Dr. Gerken trains professionals and
organizations in the interconnectedness of psychosomatic processes.
Cornelia Gerken, ECP, CMP is the founder of CoreSoma®, and
Co-Director of the Institutes. She works with different psychosomatic
approaches. In her work she shares her compassion and joy for life and
brings a deep presence of the feminine. Cornelia & Siegmar have been
married for 30 years and raised three children together.

Joar Skjevdal, MA: Psychologist, Major, and director for the Leader Development and Personal Growth Division at the Norwegian Defense Leadership Institute. He has a part time private practice as body-psychotherapist in Oslo, working with individuals, couples and groups.
